There were a few problems we noticed and gaps with our story that we were unable to see. We took these into account and therefore changed a few things. The actual idea of our plot was good and our target audience who are 15+ were intreagued by the idea. One of our obvious problems was the protagonist lived alone and the problem with this is; people would just think she was going crazy or the ghost is just in her head. We changed this problem by making her move in with an old friend who lives in the area, this way there is more evidence she isn't going crazy. The friend is therefore able to tell the audience that he didn't see anything, this gives off a better effect and makes the film seem more scarier.
Another change we made was the reason to come back to her old town, the original idea was she would come back from a long trip to new york, but we changed this to her psychiatrist tells her to return for her mental health in order to get a job promotion. This is showing the audience there maybe a problem with her health showing something is not quite right and can predict something bad is going to happen. We also came to a conclusion that her husband and job is in London instead of New York this way its a lot easier to film, as New York is too far away. These changes and reactions have been vital to the project as it has helped us to notice the flaws which were hard to notice at first.
