Introduction

For my media coursework our group have chosen to do a film trailor instead of a music video. Our film will be psychological horror. This way it is something different from the average horror film, it wont be pradictable. Along with our film trailor one of our other tasks will be to create a magazine cver which wont be too difficult as we did that in AS media coursework. Therefore i am very familure with using photoshop and the tools. There are a number of reasons why we chose to do a film trailor these are;

- The group can be a lot more imagative as it doesn't have to be realistic like a music video would have to be more. The group also came to a conclusion that it will be more of a challenge to a music video.

- Our group can also take more part in a film trailor as it involves using acting skills, it also provides the opportunity for each member of the group to have a fair role in the production of our final product, as there are alot more tasks to be carried out to give it the fall affect of a typical horror film.

From this task we hope to;

- Be able to work as a group to prevent a good film trailor

- Be able to be different, to make our film trailor not like a normal orginal horror film, be more imaganitive, and understand what makes a typical horror film.

- Be able to understand the media conventions in a way to make our film trailor effective to our target audience.
